Chad was playing with a compass one day (the drawing kind, not the lost-in-the-woods kind) and started making envelopes. The hexagons seemed to works best and there are several out there now, but there was also a circular one. The hex shape was designed to accomodate those wonderful triangle stamps... but Dennis decided to avoid the "place stamp here" area when he mailed this.
