WHAT ARE THESE? WHO'S CLU? HOW DOES THAT TANK ROLL WITHOUT WHEELS?

These models are based on the movie Tron (1982, Disney). In the film these objects existed "inside the computer" and were entirely computer generated. Beautiful stuff. Production design was by Syd Mead and Jean Giraud (a.k.a. "Moebius") who I've been a huge fun of for years, especially his abstracts.


CAN I BUY THAT LIGHTCYCLE?

I have no idea... If Disney won't sue me then I might consider selling them. I'll have to come up with a full part count. Then there's the problem of shipping!


WHY HAVEN'T YOU DONE GRID BUGS? SOLAR SAILER? MCP?

The bug looks like it will require some specialty pieces that I don't have on hand, especially to do it in the right color. We'll see... I'll try to get some more models posted soon. MCP might be the next one to do.

I was surprised more people haven't built Tron models. I suppose the curves make it a bit of a challenge.
